Praised as ambitious and groundbreaking, the Sustainable Investment Fund at Haas is the first and largest student-led SRI fund within a leading business school. It offers our MBA students real-world experience in delivering both strong financial returns and positive social impact. Formerly known as the Haas Socially Responsible Investment Fund, since 2008 the student principals have more than tripled the initial investment to over $4M, learning through experience about SRI and ESG investment strategies and practices. At the end of the year, student principals create a publicly available annual report for the Fund.
The Sustainable Investment Fund was launched with generous gifts from Haas alumni. Special thanks goes to Charlie Micheals, Larry Johnson and the late Al Johnson for their foundational support.
The 2023-2024 application for the Sustainable Investment Fund course is now closed.
