Your life as a Berkeley undergraduate begins with eight weeks of Summer courses alongside other incoming Berkeley freshmen. While on campus, you will explore campus resources, connect with your peers, and prepare for your time abroad. When Summer courses end, you will depart Berkeley for your Fall semester abroad.

Spend the Fall semester of your freshman year in London, one of the world’s most important financial, media, and cultural capitals. Through coursework in writing and research, art history, philosophy, politics, and more, you’ll grow your understanding of what makes culture and business thrive. The Accent London Study Center serves as the nexus for your studies and for University of California activities in the United Kingdom.

When you return to UC Berkeley for the Spring semester, you will be enrolled in a cohorted class experience with your GMP class. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to take a mix of classes at the Haas School and across UC Berkeley, gaining global perspective, building quantitative strength, business knowledge, and honing language and leadership skills. Learn more about the Business Administration curriculum in the Berkeley Academic Guide.
