Your life as a Berkeley undergraduate begins alongside other incoming Spieker Undergraduate Business Program first year students. While on campus, you will explore campus resources, and connect with your peers in the first of three GMP cohort classes, all during your first academic year at Cal. After your first year and when summer ends, you will depart from home for your Fall semester abroad.
Spend the Fall semester of your sophomore year in the new study abroad location, studying at a local university with other local students. Engage in coursework in business electives, cultural studies, and exclusive business visits. You’ll grow your understanding of what makes culture and business thrive from a global perspective. The local international center will serve as the nexus for your academic support and cultural integration while abroad.
When you return to UC Berkeley for the Spring semester, you will be enrolled in your second cohort class experience with your GMP class. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to take a mix of classes at the Haas School and across UC Berkeley, expanding your international studies, building quantitative strength, international business knowledge, and leadership skills. Learn more about the Business Administration curriculum in the Berkeley Academic Guide.
