Current FTMBA and EWMBA students in the internship and full-time seeking classes have the option of being included in the CMG BEARS Candidate Search. The Candidate Search is our dynamic resume database, which allows employers to filter for candidates who match their hiring criteria. If your profile and resume match what the employer is seeking in a candidate, they can reach out to you with the job opportunity.
You can submit your resume for inclusion in the Candidate Search by following the instructions in the CMG BEARS Student Toolkit.
Your resume will only be searchable if it has been approved by our team AND you have listed it as your primary resume. The primary resume will have a star next to it in your profile.
In order for you to be included in the Candidate Search, your resume must be in the Haas format. Visit our resume page to download the Haas Format Resume Template and access additional resources to help you refine your resume. If your resume is out of format, we will send it back with requested edits.
- 2nd year FTMBAs and 3rd year EWMBAs: the Candidate Search opens to employers on August 12th, 2024. Resumes should be submitted in CMG BEARS by August 5th to be included in the first round of approvals.
- 1st year FTMBAs and 2nd year EWMBAs: the Candidate Search opens to employers on October 28th, 2024. Resumes should be submitted in CMG BEARS by October 21st to be included in the first round of approvals.
You can still submit a resume for approval at any time if you miss these first deadlines. Just know that your resume will not be searchable for recruiters until we approve it in CMG BEARS. Expect a 2-3 business day turnaround time from when you submit your resume to when it is reviewed by our team. To avoid delays, make sure your resume is in the Haas format before you submit.
You can opt in or out of the Candidate Search at any time. The advantage to being included is that you are passively receiving potential jobs and outreach from recruiters. If you report an accepted offer in CMG BEARS, you will be automatically removed from the Candidate Search. However, if you are not actively seeking, you may prefer to opt out. Visit the CMG BEARS Student Toolkit for instructions on how to opt out of the Candidate Search.
