IMPORTANT LINKS:
Graduation Requirements
Unless in a concurrent degree program, students need at least 51 valid units to graduate. Here are the FTMBA graduation requirements. Dual-degree students will want to review the concurrent degree program graduation requirements.
MBA Course Evaluations
You may view faculty evaluations and student-to-student comments for the classes you are considering when you are logged in from the berkeley.edu domain. The OLR site includes links to this information as well.
Sample Course Syllabi
We have asked faculty to link a sample syllabus in their course description for students to view. Course descriptions are hyperlinked on the Elective Schedule. If you don’t see the syllabus for a course you’re interested in, feel free to reach out to the faculty directly and request one.
Course Planning Tools
Take advantage of the following tools to help you build a class schedule that aligns with your leadership goals and keeps you on track for graduation.
Leadership Development Course Planning Tool: The leadership roadmap tool is designed to empower students to drive their development by locating opportunities for leadership learning within the FTMBA curriculum. This tool provides a framework for students to think about their leadership interests and map out how they will navigate coursework opportunities that have components that support the development and reinforcement of leadership competencies.
Degree Planner: The Degree Planner helps you map out your courses and track your progress toward meeting graduation requirements in addition to the Academic Progress Report (APR) feature in CalCentral. You can download a copy of the planner and pick the tab for your class (i.e. Class of ’25 or Class of ’26) to begin planning for your degree.
Areas of Emphasis
We offer 13 areas of emphasis for students who want to direct their studies in pursuit of specific career goals. The Haas Areas of Emphasis page offers faculty-guided advice on elective courses and extracurricular activities that will give you valuable exposure to that field or area of study.
CMG’s Industries & Functions
Looking for industry content and exposure outside of the classroom? Want to learn more about specific career roles and get internship/interview guidance? The CMG Industries & Functions page offers great resources and opportunities to complement your academic experience!
