The Haas DocuSign instance is part of the UC Berkeley e-Signatures enterprise consortium. As a member of the consortium, Haas adheres to Campus’ data security policies and best practices to prevent exposure and risks to any collected protected data*.

Campus has defined four levels of data classification, from P1 (minimal level) to P4 (highest, most sensitive). While Campus e-Signatures does not limit the data levels which users may collect through DocuSign, they do have recommendations about how to collect the data and where to store it after the envelope (document) has been completed.

🆕 Login Change – July 8, 2024 |
Campus e-Signatures is exclusively using the Berkeley domain address (@berkeley.edu) for logins to all DocuSign accounts beginning July 8, 2024.
This means that logins to docusign.berkeley.edu using aliases like the Haas subdomain (@haas.berkeley.edu) will no longer work. If you are logging in with a Haas address, please reach out to [email protected] and request for assistance to change your Campus DocuSign login to the Berkeley address.
Change requirements:
-
- Use your @berkeley.edu address to log into all your DocuSign accounts
- Continue to use your @berkeley.edu address for all DocuSign accounts
- Do not log in to DocuSign with any sub domain or aliases
- Request that all agreements sent to you for signature be sent to your @berkeley.edu address
- Update your signature with your DocuSign contact email to request that all agreements are sent to your @berkeley.edu address (ex. “DocuSign me at: [your email]@berkeley.edu“)

*Note: for P3 and P4 data, Campus IT Security only recommends using CalShare to store these. bDrive (Google Drive) and Box are not recommended.
