Master of Financial Engineering (MFE) courses can be taken on a space available basis. Interested students should contact their Academic Advisor. MFE courses are quant heavy, therefore upon consideration and approval from their advisor, students will be directed to the MFE Office for a follow-on assessment of the student’s suitability for the MFE course of interest. EW Students can earn an MFE Certificate if they take 3 classes.
All students must have completed or waived the following core courses to be eligible for an MFE course:
- EWMBA200S – Data & Decisions
- EWMBA202 – Financial Reporting
- EWMBA203 – Intro to Finance
The following links will be helpful in determining what MFE course is right for you:
Note that all MFE prep courses do not count for academic credit.
