Bio: I have always been involved with strategy and operations programs whether it was in the nonprofits or the music industry. I am passionate about crafting and driving programs that help create an efficient impact. Prior to Haas, I worked at the San Francisco SPCA. During Haas, I traveled all over the world working festivals like Coachella, EDC, ACL, and some in Croatia! I came to Haas for the student community. I wanted to learn with those that were passionate about doing business in a new and progressive way. I have been able to find these in campus clubs, my cohort, and an awesome study group!

Bio: Hi ! I work on Project Management at Intel. Prior to that, I was a semiconductor engineer with experience working at both a startup and a big firm. Besides work and school, I do amateur rock-climbing, teach Salsa, snowboard during winters and make terrible puns all the time. I’m inclined towards entrepreneurship and am part of the Entrepreneurship and Tech clubs at Haas. Why Gold you asked? Looking at the perfect blend of academic and social life, I craved to be a part of gold. Now, gold is a part of me. Looking forward to meeting the class of 2023! OneHaas.

A note from Surekha: I worked as a Software Engineer for 8 years before switching to Product Management. As a Product Manager, I work in a highly cross functional environment and wanted to expand my knowledge base to communicate meaningfully with all the stakeholders. The Haas curriculum is structured very well to expand your knowledge in several business verticals. With its physical proximity to work, top ranking, and a flexible evening and weekend program, Haas was easily a top choice for me. I am extremely fortunate to be part of a diverse, inclusive and stimulating class.

A note from Ray: Just your typical run-of-the-mill insurance product manager who loves collaborating and building strong connections with others. I joined the EWMBA Haas program to bolster my network of like-minded individuals who prioritize personal & professional development. At Haas, I’ve been most involved with student leadership (social cohort rep, VP of interprogram/interclass relations) and the OneHaas podcast (producer & host). Looking forward to meeting class of 2023 and hearing your stories!

Bio: I am a Mechanical Engineer by education and I have been working for over 15yrs in manufacturing. I came to HAAS to build on to my business acumen and compliment my technical expertise. The only business school I applied to in the US was HAAS as I connected strongly with the core principles. Questioning the Status Quo and Going Beyond Yourself have been at the heart of who I am and how I built my career. I am fortunate to be part of an OSKI cohort, highly talented yet humble and compassionate individuals. I made a lot of friends in the last one year and look forward to making many more with prospective students. I am always ready to play badminton or talk about investing in stocks if you are up for it.

Bio: Environment and sustainability have always been topics near and dear to my heart. With over 10 years of technical experience in the energy, mining & metallurgy sectors, I have had the opportunity to experience many shortfalls in this industry. When I made the choice to take an active role in introducing change and innovation in world of mining, I knew I had to choose an MBA program that would not only equip me with the practical and leadership skills to succeed, but also expose me to the frontier of technology. Today, I am working with Shell’s Digital Venture team enabling innovative solution providers transform mining in to a more environmentally friendly, sustainable, safe, and modern business! I look forward to my next two years at Haas where together, we can even further challenge the status quo!

Industry: Technology
Function: Program Management
Bio: After receiving my master’s in international economics, I realized that the traditional career path for an internal relations major is not for me. I decided to enter the private sector without knowing what to expect, and am happy to report that I have found my passion in solving challenging problems with data. I recently transitioned from data analytics to program management – still working with data – to build out a machine learning program at NetSuite. I came to Haas to expand my skill set so that I can be a leader who inspires others. At Haas, I am one of the VPs of Incoming Student Experience and served as an Academic Cohort Rep. Outside of work and school, you can find me cooking up a feast, hiking in the woods, practicing yoga, and playing board games. So excited to share WE Launch experience with the Class of 2023!

Bio: I majored in Economics but have always had an interest in entrepreneurship. This led me to work at a couple of startups where I could to grow teams and build product strategies from the ground up. After the last startup I worked at was acquired, I realized this would be the best time to take the plunge and go back to school. I currently work at Facebook as a Product Manager and am excited to continue broadening my entrepreneurial skills at Haas. First year has flown by and Haas has been everything I imagined and more. I’ve loved my time here so far, particularly because of my amazing classmates, and I can’t wait to welcome the incoming class!
