Tyson has helped Berkeley Haas become a pioneer in what is now the booming field of social entrepreneurship. As a former government official and an advisor and board director for both Fortune 500 corporations and major non-profit organizations, Tyson has spent much of her career working with for-profit and nonprofit organizations and the public sector for social change.
Cathy Garza serves as Interim Executive Director of the Institute for Business & Social Impact (IBSI). By facilitating collaboration among IBSI’s Centers and programs, Cathy helps promote social impact research, learning, and careers.
Jasmine joined EGAL and the Institute for Business & Social Impact in 2019 as the Administrative Coordinator. She graduated from UC Berkeley in 2015 with a degree in History and a focus on Black social revolutions in the Americas. Jasmine worked in the legal aid field for 3 years at the Legal Aid Association of California as their Training & Communications Coordinator.
