WE Lead Registration
When: Friday May 12th (~afternoon) – Sunday May 14th (late morning)
Where: Hilton San Francisco Financial District, San Francisco, CA
Registration is now open for WE Lead: Third Year Retreat! All students who entered in Fall of 2020 are invited to attend this weekend long retreat, giving students a chance to:
- Reflect on the past three years and commemorate the conclusion of the EWMBA Program
- Celebrate the bonds you have built with your classmates
- Meaningfully close the MBA chapter, appreciating how far you all have come during the program
Action Item: Please fill out this survey to officially register for the weekend. Registration will be open until Sunday April 2 at 11:59PM PDT. There is no additional cost to students for the weekend, but we encourage you to think carefully before registering and commit only if you are able to attend. Accurate RSVPs ensure that the EW Program Office can provide a well-planned and impactful experience.

In this interactive session with the Leadership Communications team, you will have a chance to creatively reflect on the professional and personal experiences that have made you the leader you are right now. You will delve into the authenticity of your leadership, the heart & meaning of your experience as an individual and define who you are right now and who you want to be. In this experiential and community building session you will deepen connections in your cohort through storytelling and celebrate yourself and others.
This will serve as an anchor for reflection for you, a celebration of what has happened in the past three years, and a springboard into your future.

My Leadership Journey Workshop
In this interactive session with the Leadership Communications team, you will have a chance to creatively reflect on the professional and personal experiences that have made you the leader you are right now. Class of 2023 Banquet Awards
The Class of 2023 Banquet Awards will be held at the historic Julia Morgan Ballroom, overlooking San Francisco’s Financial District. Celebrate with your classmates with dinner, drinks, awards presentation and dancing!

The theme this year is Roaring 20’s. Please dress to impress with the appropriate attire.
Event Liability Waiver
As the event is off-site, all students are required to complete the WE Lead 2023 Event Liability Waiver prior to check-in. Please digitally sign by Thursday May 11 at 5PM PT.

Parking & Transportation
We strongly encourage you to take public transportation or ridesharing services for WE Lead. If you choose to drive, you are responsible for all parking costs associated with the weekend. WE Lead attendees are eligible for a $15 discount on Hilton San Francisco Financial District’s daily rate. For more information on parking at Hilton, please visit the Hilton website.
Dress Code
The dress code during the daytime on Saturday, March 13th is smart casual. The dress code & theme for the Award Banquet is Roaring 20’s.

In this interactive session led by Mark Rittenberg and the Leadership Communications team, you will have a chance to creatively reflect on the professional and personal experiences that have made you the leader you are. You will delve into the authenticity of your leadership, explore the heart and meaning of your experience as an individual, and define who you are right now and who you want to be. In this experiential and community building session, you will deepen connections with your classmates through storytelling and shared exploration

Please review the Student Agenda below. Full participation in all WE Lead events is expected.
Friday, May 12 is a free evening to connect with your classmates! Connect with your cohort reps for the plans.
Event check-in with Program Office staff will take place at the hotel on Saturday, May 13 starting at 9:00 AM in the Foyer outside the Grand Ballroom on the 3rd floor. Please bring your Cal 1 Card to check-in.
Hotel Accommodations & Getting There
The Hilton will be ready for check-in on Friday, May 12 after 4:00 PM. The Program Office will not be making any further changes to the rooming list. You are free to organize any room changes among yourselves after you check in. Check-out should be completed on Sunday, May 14 before 11:00 AM.
The Hilton Financial District is a 14-minute walk from the Montgomery BART/MUNI Station. The MUNI Bus Route 8 runs up Kearny Street from the vicinity of Montgomery Station to Kearny Street and Clay Street, right by the hotel.
If you are driving, you are responsible for parking costs. Please read the Hilton website for information on parking costs. The entrance to the parking garage is at 750 Kearny Street, right next to the entrance to the hotel. Please see a screenshot of the garage location below.
The parking cost will be attached to your room. If you park your car, let the front desk know when you check in and provide a credit card. We have arranged a $15 discount per day for EW students. When you check out, your card will be charged accordingly.
Liability Waiver
If you have not completed the Liability Waiver, please do so by Friday, May 12 at 5:00 PM.

Saturday, May 13:

Sunday, May 14: Casual
Temperatures are estimated to be in the high 60’s to low 70’s in the daytime. Although all events will take place indoors, we encourage you to pack accordingly.

Laptops will not be needed.
Commencement Ticket Pick Up
Commencement ceremony tickets will be available for pick up from the Program Office staff in the foyer on Sunday, May 14 during breakfast from 9:00-11:00 AM only. Please stop by on your way out.
Student & Professional Conduct
UC Berkeley and Haas administration expect that all students conduct themselves in a manner compatible with the University’s function as an educational institution. EWMBA students serve as ambassadors of the Haas community and should behave accordingly. Violations of the Code of Student Conduct will be reported to the UC Berkeley Center for Student Conduct.
