Business has never been more global. The participation of high-school students from around the world enriches the Berkeley Business Academy for Youth experience for everyone.
International students who are proficient in English are welcome to apply to the program. A member of the B-BAY Admissions Committee will interview you to determine your level of English proficiency.
- Due to COVID-19, new requirements are in place. Check if your destination has travel restrictions and bring a completed copy of travel documents if needed.
- A face covering is required by U.S. federal law at the airport and onboard flights. In addition, passengers flying to the U.S. from another country, including U.S. citizens, must show proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 3 days of departure, or documentation of recovery. These rules do not apply to children under 2. Passengers who may be exempt from wearing a face-covering due to a disability must contact us before travel. Visit here for more about travel requirements.
Because B-BAY is a non-credit, two-week program
- Citizens of countries who need a visa to enter the United States should obtain a B-2 “Visitor for Pleasure” visa, not an F-1 student visa. This allows students to enjoy tourist activities as well as to participate in B-BAY.
- Citizens of countries who participate in the Visa Waiver Program should enter the U.S. in WT “Waiver Tourist” status which permits the same flexibility.
